Tisha Ship Management Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 in the year 2008 bearing CIN No: U35110KL2008PTC023427. We are a professional service provider in the Marine Industry. We provide a comprehensive range of professional ship management and manning services to the Shipping Industry with the principles of quality, safety, environmental protection and profitability.
The Company is in possession of RPSL License No: RPSL/CHN/015, ISO 9001-2015 certified by IRQS, MLC 2006, Member of International Maritime Federation and also other registrations.
We are one of the Medium-sized Micro Small Medium Enterprise (MSME) and NSIC units in Kerala do shipping business and other Maritime activities. Our Group Company has been in existence for more than 3 decades.
The company has identified an untapped niche in the market for Ship Management, Manning, Delivery, Ship Operation, Coastal Shipping, Inland Water Transport, Tourism and Dredging.

Management Team
Mr K.P. Benny Rohal, Managing Director, an Ex. Merchant Navy Chief Engineer, who is the founder of Ron Maritime Ltd, the parent company is the first Indo Danish Joint venture in India, which owned ships, barges and Deep-sea fishing factory ships. He has over 40 +experience in the shipping industry, served as a shipowner, charterer, vessel sale and purchase, Barge operator, management of ships, bunker trader, Seafarers documentation and certifications. He also worked as Chief Engineer till 1985 in Foreign Shipping companies.
Capt. Sreejith K Hari, Executive Director is a Master Mariner from Merchant Navy with ample exposure and knowledge in this field. He worked in Foreign Shipping companies and specialised in large Chemical tankers, presently looking after the day to day operations, surveys, ISM/ ISPS activities of the managed fleet of various owners.
Mr Torben Madsen, Director of Parent company, Ron Maritime Ltd., doing Maritime and Trading activities worldwide with a base in Denmark under the name M/s. Meco Ltd erstwhile Scandinavian Technology APS.
Capt. Hari K. S., Director with 40 years of experience in Shipping, Salvage and Offshore Vessel operations. He started his career with the Government of India Deep Sea Fishery Project on the East and West coast of India. He is also a qualified fishing Captain especially shrimping and prawn factory trawler. He was one of the pioneers working for Union Carbide, an American company based on the East coast owning and operating 10 large Deep Sea Prawn trawlers. Later he shifted to a cargo ship specialising in General Cargo and also taking demolition vessels from home port to India for ship breaking. He also has 2 years of experience in Ship Repair and vessel modification at the Cochin yard. Presently, he is looking after Inland Water Transport Division and also New Building of Barges, Small Crafts etc.,
Ms Ganga B Rohal, Director worked for 12 years as an Accountant in M/s Sea Bay Ventures Pvt.Ltd, ship owning company based at Willingdon Island Cochin. Joined M/s. Ron Maritime Ltd in 1995 as Director. The Company was involved in Inland Water Transport, Bunkering, Ship Owning, Barge Owning, Deep Sea Fishing Barge Operation etc, Later in the year 2002 joined as a Partner In Tisha Navigation Inc which was started for Chartering, Deep Sea Fishing, Inland Water Transport, Barge operation, chartering etc., and still continuing and also Promoter of Tisha Ship Management Pvt. Ltd.
Ms Teesha B Rohal, Chief Financial Officer is an MBA in finance and Banking Bachelor Degree in commerce. Was working as Branch Manager with Federal Bank, well versed with the commercial operation and financial aspect of the Company. Presently providing overall financial guidance and support to the company and overall management of financial and administrative aspects of the company.
Competent and experienced staff working with decades of experience in the shipping industry are confident of leading the organisation to take on any challenges to the utmost satisfaction of the clients.
Project Outline
We have established credentials of being a quality provider of shipping solutions ranging from supplying Manpower to providing onboard technical support in addition to Ship Maintenance and Repair. TSL will present documented compliance with national, coastal and port state legislation.
Present Activities
Our main activities are Ship Operation, Ship Owning, Ship Management, Sale & Purchase, bunkering, Inland Water Transport, Coastal transport, Ocean transport, Cruise Tourism, delivery of various types of ships and later into Dredging. For the last 12 years, the company’s core business is Ship management and rendering maritime services to Govt. of India, the Kerala Government and other reputed private companies and various foreign companies.
- Presently we are into Ship Management of MV Nefertiti – Cruise Pax Vessel, owned by Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation Ltd(KSINC).
- Ship Management of AHTS Vessel M.V. MEGHNA for providing Technical, Logistics and Communication Support to the Indian Navy.
- Ship Management of 3 Nos. Marine Ambulances for Fisheries Department.
- Manning for M/s. Chandris Hellas Inc., Greece for 11 VLCC and Manning of 17 Bulk Carriers for Century Ship Management Company, Greece.
- Supply of Manning Crew for Sea Trails of Vessels for Cochin Shipyard Ltd., and completed trials of 9 Nos. Ro–Pax vessels and 3 Nos. Marine Ambulances. Also, we are doing Sea Trials of newly built Vessels of Cochin Shipyard Ltd.
- We have 10 years of ship management experience with Kerala State Maritime Development Corporation Ltd., Kerala, a large ocean-going Trailer Suction Dredger – Sindhuraj for dredging all ports in India.
- Demolition sale of various types of vessels for shipbreaking worldwide at a competitive rate.
- Effluent removal from Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) at Trivandrum and Alwaye.
- We render service for delivery, trials of ships built in various yards to owners worldwide. Our major work is with Cochin Shipyard Ltd.
- Ship management of AHTS at Jeddah owned by M/s. A.A. Turki Group, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Ship Manning Agency agreement with ALPHATECH1 PTE LTD. Singapore.
- We have an agency agreement with M/s. Rentong Marine Co.Ltd. China for New Building of Vessels.
- Marine Consultancy.
- We have manned and operated an Ocean going TSHD Sindhuraj, IMO NO:9201073, OFF NO:2797, Indian Flag under IRS class for the Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India, New Delhi has successfully for the last 11 years. The work involved Manning, Ship Management operations, Dredging and deepening of various major ports and minor ports in India.
- We have done Manning, Dredging and Ship management of Cutter Suction Dredger Chandragiri owned by the Government of Kerala.
- Delivery of M.V. Nefertiti from Builder’s Yard M/s. Vijai Marine Shipyard, Goa at Goa fulfilling DOC, ISM and RPSL surveys for KSINC to Kochi, Kerala.
- Delivery and Ship Management of M.T. Kodungallur and M.T. Cochin II for Diplomat Marine, Mumbai.
- Delivery of Tug M.T. Keralam from Kochi to Kollam and M.T. Padmasree from Kollam Port to Kochi for Directorate of Ports, Govt. of Kerala.
- We have done delivery and towing of Tug M.T. Malabar along with M.V. Dweep Sethu from Kollam to Kannur for M/s. Al-Hadeed Trading Company.
We have manned more than 100 vessels since 1980 of various types including ownerships. (All are not mentioned in the list). The pride of our Manning is the 11 VLCC Tankers of M/s. Chandris Hellas Inc, Greece and 17 Bulk carriers of M/s. Century Ship Management Co., Greece.
Technical Management
All vessels technically managed by TSL will be maintained to the highest industry standard by following a planned maintenance program. We monitor the vessel’s performance closely to ensure maximum operating efficiency.
Ships are normally inspected at regular intervals by our technical superintendent to ensure a very close follow-up of shipboard activities, however, in some cases, it is possible for more frequent visits to ensure consistent follow-up and smooth operations.
Our Technical Ship Management team provides –
- Management of onboard maintenance and associated repair plan
- Drydock repairs and assistance
- Consultation with regulatory agencies and owners rep’s
- Coordination of vetting inspections and post-inspection action planning
- Safety and Security assessments and awareness training as required by principals
Our Technical team focuses on following key aspects of ship management practices –
- Daily monitoring of the vessel with consultation with owners
- Follow-up on defect tracking sheet in close coordination with ship staff.
- Technical diagnosis and Root cause analysis.
Flag State Documentation
TSL is a One Stop Solution for all Flag State Documentation.
We undertake flag state STCW certificates, COC, COP, CDC etc from Panama, Honduras, Belize, Liberia, Cook Island, Samoa, Malta, Bahamas, Cyprus, Hong Kong, Marshal Island, Isle of Man and India.
